Widely recognized as a mainstay in the business of keeping one’s pants in place, P.M. Chavez belts are one of those things everyone should have at least two of. All belts are handmade in Southern California using the best leather and production processes possible.
Cut and assembled by hand these belts come from a batch of hides I found at my local leather supply and are products of a now defunct overseas tannery whose specialty was California-style Latigo leather. In a way, they represent the end of an era as they were made using tanning practices that are no longer industry standard. They measure one and a half inches wide and are of a firmer temper than my usual offerings. Available in two beautiful color choices with highly contrasting pull-up, they feature hand sewn details, contrasting keepers and burnished edges.
Sizing is based on the measurement you provide. Please be aware that the sizing on your favorite pair of blue jeans is rarely accurate and only a measurement of your waist will ensure a perfect fit.

The tannery responsible for this leather is one of only very few left in the country who are capable of producing a hide of this caliber. They measure one and a half inches wide and feature beveled edges, a center bar buckle and are secured using Chicago screws, making it easy to swap out buckles.
